Our Choose Your Caller ID feature is implemented to send calls over your cell phone network to ensure your calls have the best possible call quality. In order to disguise your cell phone’s caller ID number, the app dials a separate number in our system and bridges the call through that number, spoofing the caller ID number at the same time.

While it looks a bit odd on your phone, the call does get transferred correctly and your cell phone number is successfully hidden from the person you are calling.
