Voicemail greetings are professionally recorded by our staff, but you’re welcome to record your own greeting if you’d prefer. To do so:

From the App:
STEP 1: Open the Ruby app and tap on the three dots in the top right corner, which opens more options. 
STEP 2: Select Voicemail from the Settings menu and then the voicemail greeting you would like to edit. (Your phone may ask you to allow permission for the app to access your microphone.)
STEP 3: You can listen to your current greeting or press Tap to Record to record a new greeting.
STEP 4: This will generate a call to our voicemail system to record - the system will prompt you to start recording. Once you've updated your greeting, press # to accept.
STEP 5: Your greeting will play back for you - press 1 to accept the new greeting, press 2 to record it again, or press 3 to listen to a preview.

From the Online Portal:
STEP 1: Go to my.call-ruby.com and click on Account on the left hand pane.
STEP 2: Select Settings and then scroll down to Voicemail Recording. Select the voicemail greeting from the menu you would like to edit. (Your phone may ask you to allow permission for the app to access your microphone.)
STEP 3: You can listen to your current greeting or press Re-Record to record a new greeting.
STEP 4: This will generate a call to our voicemail system to record - the system will prompt you to start recording. Once you've updated your greeting, press # to accept.
STEP 5: Your greeting will play back for you - press 1 to accept the new greeting, press 2 to record it again, or press 3 to listen to a preview.
