Keeping Ruby as backup to your in-house staff allows you to remain on a smaller billing plan. This is a great solution for lunch breaks, staff meetings, unexpected callouts, vacations, or the moments when your in-house staff is simply too busy to grab the phone. Ruby is happy to fill in the gaps!
Not getting as many calls/chats?
Whether you’re not using Ruby as much as you thought or your business is entering a slow season, we are happy to find a smaller plan that will work for your budget. We also have a discounted Platform Only plan that includes direct-to-voicemail service, in addition to full access to our app and online portal.
Cancellation Process
If you feel cancelling is still the right option for you, call our team at 866-611-7829. If you contact us to cancel during an introductory period (wherein Ruby provides you a money-back guarantee up to 21 days or before your usage exceeds 500 receptionist minutes/50 billable chats, whichever occurs sooner), your cancellation is effective immediately. Otherwise, your cancellation is effective at the end of the then-current monthly billing period.
After your last day of service, your Ruby forwarding numbers will be routed to a disconnect notice and/or your chat box will be disabled. All phone numbers forwarded to your Ruby account should be un-forwarded to avoid service disruption. Your phone service provider can assist you with un-forwarding your phones from Ruby.
If you’ve published your Ruby forwarding number or ported your business number to us, we’re happy to port the number back to you as long as your account is in good financial standing. Please let us know at the time of cancellation so that we provide you with the correct documentation to transfer the phone number to your ownership.
