Each time we field a lead or actionable support request for you, you'll receive a copy of the chat transcript from staff@call-ruby.com. These emails include the web visitor’s name and contact information, a summary of their reason for chatting in, and the full transcript of the conversation between them and our chat specialist. There are also a few other pieces of handy information:
- IP Address: The IP address of a chat visitor.
- Chat ID: A unique ID number. If you export your chat activity, this ID number will match the ID number for the corresponding chat conversation in your exported data.
- Referred By: How a web visitor reached your site, including if they were linked from another site, a search engine, or if they visited your URL directly.
- Chat Started On: The URL of the webpage the visitor was on when they initiated a chat.
You can access your full chat activity with a single click by clicking the Go To Dashboard button to access your Activity from the online portal.
