How to Locate Your Device Information for App Troubleshooting

When we’re troubleshooting the Ruby app, it’s extremely useful to know your device’s make, model, operating system, and Ruby app version number, in addition to having a screenshot of the error message (if you’re getting one). Here’s how you can find that information for our team:

iPhone

Make & Model: Go to Settings > General > About
Operating System: Go to Settings > General > About. Look for “iOS Version."
Ruby App Version #: From the Ruby app, tap the three dots at the top right of the screen, and then scroll to the bottom of the menu - look for Version.

Android

Make & Model: Go to Settings > About Phone. Your device's Make will display at the top, and look for “Model Number.” 
Operating System: Go to Settings > About Phone. Your device's make will display at the top, and look for "Android Version."
Ruby App Version #: From the Ruby app, tap the three dots at the top right of the screen, and then scroll to the bottom of the menu - look for Version.
